Human Services (Professional Degree Program)

The Human Services major is intended for those students wanting a career in the social services or counseling fields. Now available online as well as the traditional classroom format, the Human Services degree prepares students to enter the workplace or to pursue graduate education in such areas as counseling or social work. Through this program, adult students will gain the theoretical and conceptual knowledge that serves as a foundation to function effectively in a wide range of service organizations and advocacy roles.
Recent QU graduates of the Human Services program currently work with:
- public and private social service agencies
- federal, state, and local government
- group homes
- drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers
- religiously affiliated organizations
